Where to eat? Maybe everyone is thinking about the group as a whole. This establishment has everything! Alaskan cuisine, original flavors and tastes found only in a place where children laugh while eating apples in peanut butter...everyone else washing down the day with a tap beer, tasty wines, and appetizers! Tonight I chose FireWeed because it really makes my wife happy! Nothing tastes better than happiness! Great Staff!Great Food!Love love!

Closed on a non-holiday Monday during tourist season. Good job.

This place never gets old! The atmosphere is great, the wait isn't long, and the food is delicious every time!

Probably the best restaurant in Haines! Myself and our group had a great meal here. The serve beer by pitchers, which is perfect for big groups. If you order a fish or mean they come with a choice of side salad or soup, and two sides which is fantastic value for money. I had the local caught sockeye salmon with foraged local mushroom and lentils which was fresh and delicious. Serving portions are good too- you won't go hungry. Others had home-made pasta and pizza. We all had the tiramisu for desert which was rich and decadent. You will not be disappointed here! Lively space, decorated with local art, wheelchair accessible, good value and friendly servers.

Coffee sucked, No children menu for breakfast and server argued regarding the method the eggs were roast. disorganized eggs should not commence trying like Associate in Nursing omelet. would not suggest for anyone with youngsters.

Food was pretty good but the service was really variable depending on who was helping us at the time and the chef is so dogmatic about not modifying menu items that he refused to just not add croutons to a salad for someone who has gluten issues. Maybe one of the silliest things I've ever heard. I've owned a restaurant and this sort of behavior seems most likely to be explained by egoism.Go to alpenglow instead where the food is better and the staff friendlier.

This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. And the reason is consistency. Adam is a top notch Chef that has a vision and his food represents that. Every item you order from their menu is the same each time you order it. Cannot ask for much more than that when you serve top notch food in rural Alaska.

all very good, a special applause to the salads and also to the desserts and soups .... healthy food, fast and efficient service and not too expensive bill !!!

Amazing food and friendly service but do not go when it's busy, which is just about anytime a cruise ship is in town. It is very popular with the locals as well, which tells you something. The pizza is phenomenal, awesome specialty dishes and great tiramisu.

Good pizza in historic fort atmosphere. A lively place next to the distillery.

Pizza was tasty, noisy, busy, front door kept slamming throughout visit which was startling and unpleasant for some around us

If it wasn't for the fact that they were short staffed this day that caused long delays I would have given it 5 stars

Eating here for the second night in a row. The food as usual is spectacular.

The best Caesar salad I've ever had! The pizza was equally delicious. The house marinara sauce and dough were so good!

Such an amazing meal. Perfectly cooked, included vegetables, so flavorful. Everyone was super nice, and the mix of travelers and locals was nice. Local art on the walls, and the owner supports a Bookit- style reading rewards program.

This is some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. Can’t wait to try their pasta dishes.

Very fresh and tasty. Halibut was very good as were all the sides that came with it. Happy to have fresh veggies prepared with love.

Most excellent pizza!

Really poor and slow service. We didn't get our food after 2 and a half hours. Although it was busy, but we saw people coming in after us who received their food. Heard good things but was very disappointed.

My favorite restaurant in Haines! The food is excellent (sometimes takes a while, but that's how you know it's cooked just for you) and the staff is great. The prices are a little higher than average, but it's well worth it.

Pizza is delicious. It's very nice inside but very noisy.

Fantastic food, neat venue and a good local beer selection. It's frustrating to go in a group over 4 though, since they have few large tables, wouldn't take reservations and were reluctant to push tables together (we were 6.) The food was definitely worth the wait for me, but it did mean fighting to keep a less patient member of the group from leaving every time a smaller group came in and was sat immediately.

We had pizza and salmon sandwich on brioche buns. Good good and outside seating has view of harbour. Only draw back is that Hostess staff is not organized or able to predict wait times.
